LEARNING CURRICULUM

imeceLAB

imeceLAB is a 10–month–long online 

open innovation program for high school and university students. Following the HCD modules, 

students developed solutions to social and 

environmental challenges. 188 students 40 teams completed the first challenge “Urban Mobility” sponsored by the General Consulate of the Netherlands. 3 teams were selected to implement their solutions.

PARTICIPANTS' JOURNEY

High school and university students ambitious for global good went through a 10 months long online open innovation process where they formed teams and developed innovative solutions to social causes.

While working in teams, participants used online innovation content and toolkit to follow the Human Centered Design modules from understanding problems to developing and prototyping solutions.

 

During the journey, they are in communication with their peers and engage with stakeholders (experts, designers, entrepreneurs, corporations and NGOs related to the cause) to get feedback, co-create and develop their solution concept.

OUTPUT

A 10–week long

open innovation curriculum, tookit & workbook.

IMPACT

118 students, 40 teams completed the challenge. 3 teams were selected to 

implement their solutions.

OUR PROCESS

Throughout the project that was owned by ATÖLYE, we undertook content design and management for online curriculum along with toolkits and materials to be printed; and audio-visual content design and production management.
